Neroli Essential Oil
Our Neroli Essential Oil is a 100% pure, steam-distilled treasure derived from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium L. ssp. amara). Renowned for its radiant, green aroma, this oil opens with invigorating top notes, softening into the warm, floral elegance of sunlit orange blossoms. Its subtle balsamic dry down provides a perfect bridge for base notes, making it an invaluable ingredient in both perfumery and aromatherapy.A versatile and substantive material, neroli enhances everything from floral orientals to masculine citrus colognes, leaving a lasting impression even in small amounts. With significant tenacity, its vibrant scent lingers for up to 18 hours on a perfume strip.
Neroli’s history adds to its charm. While its name is often linked to the 17th-century Duchess of Nerola, who famously perfumed her gloves with it, the oil’s distillation was first described as early as 1580. Beyond its captivating aroma, neroli is celebrated for its calming properties, aiding in stress reduction and emotional balance. It also nourishes the skin, supporting the healing of scars, stretch marks, and broken capillaries.
Additional Note: Neroli oil is light yellow but may turn brownish-red with prolonged exposure to light. Store in a cool, dark place to preserve its purity and color.
